So apparently marijuana is a gateway drug, a gateway the goes in both directions. The best way to kick a heroin addiction is with weed. To be fair, the article specifies that they've only tested injecting rats with high levels of THC, but it seems to minimize the effects of opiate withdraw. No showy analysis here. No legalization rant. Just some info.
